These disruptive products have begun a revolution in subsea, freshwater and underground communications; in Environmental and Oceanographic monitoring; in control and telemetry in the Water Utilities and Offshore Oil and Gas industry; and in underwater networking for the Homeland Security and Defence industries.
WFS has led innovative research into underwater and underground electromagnetic technologies, resulting in the filing of over 50 patent applications in Europe and the US.
Following the launch of the world’s first commercial underwater RF modem, the S1510, in September 06, WFS launched the world’s first underwater broadband modem, Seatooth in January 07.
