WFS Environmental Policy

WFS works in waters and environmentally sensitive areas worldwide. Due to the nature of our business we have a heightened awareness of the vulnerability of our environment.

Consequently, we are pro-active in ensuring that WFS, its sub-contractors and associates endeavour to minimise the environmental impacts of all business operations.

Our principles are to:

· Conduct our activities to meet, or exceed, all applicable laws and regulations, as well as company policies and client environmental requirements.

· Continuously monitor equipment, facilities and operations to ensure compliance.

· Develop internal standards, typically in consultation with clients, to implement policies in situations where laws or regulations do not currently exist.

· Strive to prevent pollution at source. Avoiding releases of hazardous substances and ensuring that the means and training are in place to deal with accidental emissions.

· Managing waste: recycling where possible or disposing though safe and environmentally sound methods.

· Incorporate environmental considerations when planning procedural changes or new contracts, i.e. environmental impact from transport.

· Communicate policies to all employees, associates, sub-contractors and, equally, clients.
